Another hot day, not wasted

What a great Easter, no easter eggs received, but i am still smiling about it, managed to spend the Friday and Saturday with Frans and friends in Woolwich. We had a ball.

Got to go to Camden yesterday on my day off, just watching the boats up and down the canal, going through the locks, etc....... Great weather.

Did not last all too long though, so decided to take a nice long walk on the south side of the Thames from Canada Water to Bermondsey. WOW!!! Totally amazing the houses and scenery, the pubs, the parks and the boats on the water.
The sun was the best part of it all, after an hour and a half, a bit of fatigue (and the cricket on tv) set in and i just had to give in to the nicest pub/carvery establishment i have seen on the river. Well you judge these pics for yourself, I have lived in this area for 4 years and did not even know the extent of beauty that surrounded me.

Best quote of all times

''Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.'' by Marianne Williamson

Long time no hear

So i have been really lazy of late, what can i say, things sort of catch up with you, at first when you try something new it goes all too well and then you just get into a bit of a rut, guess you just gotta try and make it a positive rut instead, more like a speed hump where you can get along at a steady pace and every once in a while, get a reminder that you are still on the path. Point to this is that i will be making a point of keeping this blog up to date.
